Carlos Gomez, MIL @ DET – FD $3,900 DK $4,800
The Milwaukee Brewers have been hitting the ball well as a team as of late because of their core players, like Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez. Braun’s price has skyrocketed to a territory that most people don’t want to enter, but Gomez is still at a reasonable price under $4,000 on FanDuel. Gomez has a great matchup against the Detroit Tigers this week. Yesterday he went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run. I look for Gomez to continue that production against Detroit, and I think he will be a great play this entire series.
Ben Revere, PHI @ COL – FD $3,000 DK $4,500
The Philadelphia Phillies have shown that they can win some games. The Phillies have won six straight games, and have jumped up in the power rankings. On top of that success, they are playing the Rockies at Coors Field, which is one of the best hitters parks in the game. Ben Revere has been a huge part of the Phillies recent success, and he had a monster game against the Rockies on Monday. He went 3-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base. Revere is a must play because of his low price tag, and his evident production against one of the worst pitching teams in baseball.
Curtis Granderson, STL @ NYM – FD $3,200 DK $3,800
The New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals had a 14 inning marathon yesterday, which ended in a Mets victory. I like Granderson’s matchup against the Cards this week. He has collected six hits in three games. Last night, he went 2-for-6 and he scored one of the two Met runs. I look for Granderson to be able to continue that success against the Cardinals this week.
Shin-Soo Choo, TEX @ BOS – FD $3,400 DK $4,600
The Texas Rangers have a great matchup against one of the worst pitching teams in the Boston Red Sox. Choo was shut down against the Indians over the weekend, only tallying three hits. Before that series, Choo was on absolute fire against Kansas City and Tampa Bay. I love his matchup against the Red Sox, and I think that Choo is a must play against Boston.
Anthony Gose, MIL @ DET – FD $3,200 DK $4,100
The Detroit Tigers have a fantastic matchup against the struggling pitching staff of the Milwaukee Brewers. Yesterday, Anthony Gose only went 1-for-4, but he scored a run and swiped second base. Since Gose leads off, he is less likely to knock in runs, but he is more likely to get on base and steal bases. I like his matchup against the Brewers, and he has a low price tag, which will help you spend more on pitching.
