Pitching is crazy deep this season. Some No. 4 and 5 starters have been productive for their respective teams. As a result, there are plenty of pitchers to pick up off the waiver wire, whether it be for the full season or just one start. Regardless, here are three starting pitchers making two starts that are worth owning in Week 6.

A.J. Burnett, 5/12 @ PHI, 5/17 @CHC

How happy are the Pittsburgh Pirates, Burnett and his fantasy owners that he is out of Philadelphia? He had two good seasons with the Pirates in 2012 and 2013. After a disastrous 2014 season, he is back in Pittsburgh and rebounded in a big way. He has a 1-1 record with a 1.66 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. This week he faces the worst offense in the league Philadelphia Phillies and a strikeout-prone Chicago Cubs lineup. He is owned in 87.5 percent of ESPN.com leagues. If you are in the minority, grab him now.

Mike Leake, 5/11 vs. ATL, 5/16 vs. SF

After a slow start, seven earned runs in his first two outings, Leake has been great. He has allowed just five runs in his last four starts. He is currently 2-1 with a 2.47 ERA and 0.87 WHIP. The Atlanta Braves offense has been clicking over the last couple of weeks, while the San Francisco Giants can’t score a run (less than 3 runs in four of the last six games). Leake has struggled at home this season, 0-0 and 4.26 ERA, but I still believe in the talent and would start him in both games.

Wily Peralta, 5/11 vs. CWS, 5/17 @ NYM

Peralta is my deep pick of the week. He had a rough three starts to the season, 12 earned runs in those games. He’s turned it around, allowing five earned runs in his last three outings. He recorded three straight quality starts against the Los Angeles DodgersSt. Louis Cardinals and Cubs. Peralta is 1-4 with a 3.92 ERA, 1.41 WHIP. Despite allowing a high number of home runs, he owns a dominant 4.9 percent walk rate.  The Chicago White Sox rank dead last in offense with 83 runs, while the New York Mets also fall in the bottom third in the category. These are two matchups to take advantage of in Week 6.
