On the one hand, Tuesday was a day with some pretty impressive fantasy baseball stats. On the other, a few of the day’s best fantasy baseball players helped many fantasy owners out there.

Be that as it may, the days were dominant and we start with a guy that did everything for the few fantasy players that do have him on board.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stats MVP

Sam Fuld — Minnesota Twins

Fuld is a utility guy who doesn’t get enough playing time to be a good fantasy player, but he does seem to have a few days like this a season. He’s nowhere near their level as a day in and day out player but really, you couldn’t even expect more than this from a player like Mike Trout or Andrew McCutchen.

Even more amazing is that Fuld generated this kind of day in a game that wasn’t exactly filled with scoring. Chris Young was on point, but Fuld seemed to have his number.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Stats Honorable Mentions

1. Jacob deGrom — New York Mets

Another Mets pitcher who has dominant potential. DeGrom isn’t owned in many fantasy leagues, but he’s someone to keep a close eye on, as days like this are not going to be that rare. The question is, what will he do in the other starts?

At the very least, you can usually count on around a strikeout an inning and against struggling offenses, that’s probably worth starting.

2. Domonic Brown — Philadelphia Phillies

[table id=944 /]

Espeecially after his strong first half in 2013, fantasy owners everywhere certainly wish Brown could have a few more days like this. Unfortunately, he goes in way too many spots to be much of a fantasy options outside of the deepest leagues, or NL only formats.

But it is good to know that Brown’s capable of a day like this on occasion. He’s actually been heating up a little over the last few weeks so who knows? Maybe he can have a great second half in 2014. Worth keeping an eye on, anyway.

3. Jose Reyes — Toronto Blue Jays

[table id=945 /]

We found a guy owned in fantasy leagues everywhere. Reyes completely dominated in everything except interestingly enough, stolen bases.

Reyes hasn’t had a great first half but he’s the kind of guy that can completely turn things around. If you can buy him low, I’d advise it.
