We’ve released a slew of player profiles in the past month or so, some in response to specific requests on Twitter, while others were just because we felt the player had great fantasy baseball significance this season and warranted a deeper look.

I’ll collect most of them here for easy review, because it’s never too late to do a little player research. Some of these guys have started hot, while others cold. Take a closer look at their games to gauge their long-term outlook.

Houston catcher Jason Castro was a first round pick, but hasn’t shown any fantasy baseball promise. Is that true for 2013?

While we aren’t sure if Matt Harvey is a Star Wars fan, we do know he’s a highly regarded pitching prospect. Find out what to expect.

Shelby Miller is another highly regarded pitching prospect. He’s starting the season with the Cardinals so it’s worth getting to know him.

Matt Moore was last year’s highly regarded pitching prospect, but that caused many owners to over pay in 2012. Is this his breakout year?

Remember when Ryan Howard was good? How about 2013, did fantasy baseball owners give up on him too early?

Ike Davis crushed homers last year, but his average was atrocious. Can he put it all together?

Matt Carpenter is a trendy infield sleeper because of his strong on base skills. But will he put up strong fantasy numbers?

Rookie Aaron Hicks got the surprise nod as the starting center fielder for the Twins. What’s his upside in his first year?

Yoenis Cespedes put up a monster 2012 for Oakland in his first year. Everyone is wondering what he’ll do in his sophomore campaign.

Everyone is still hoping for Carlos Gonzalez to repeat his 2010 season. Was he worthy of the first round pick it took to snatch him?

Starling Marte possesses great power / speed potential. But does he have the plate discipline to do great things as early as 2013 and help the Pirates get to .500?

Aaron Hill has had an up and down career, but second base is shallow and someone had to get drafted for that position. Which version of Hill will we see this year?

It’s felt like Aroldis Chapman has gone from closer to starter to closer and back again 100 times in his young career. You know he throws hard, but what kind of pitcher is he really?

This profile of 6 shortstops will give you more for your money.  Which light-hitting, speedy shortstop should you lean on this season?

Chase Utley has looked good thus far in 2013. Should you sell high or does he have life left in his knees?

Cameron Maybin has teased us for years. We know the talent is in there, but what will it take for him to pull it together?

Jacoby Ellsbury scares people with his injured past. What’s a reasonable ceiling for him?

Roy Halladay was untouchable as late as 2011. What’s Doc’s value going forward? Has age and innings finally caught up to him?

Mark Trumbo had – in effect – three different seasons last year.  Which is the one he’ll settle into for this season?

Salvador Perez can hit for average, but does he have the power to become one of baseball’s top 5 catchers?

Mike Minor had a solid second half, looking like he pulled everything together. Will he break out in 2013 or give up too many homers?

Jered Weaver has always pitched better than his skills indicate. Does he continue his dominance or does it fall apart?

The Ryan Ludwick injury is making people think that Billy Hamilton might get an early call up. He wont’ but what if he did. It’s crazy talk!
